Dude. We built a couch.

So, our apartment entry is so small that we can't get a couch in. So, we built one! www.homereserve.com

Hi Guys,

I am planning to buy a new one from homereserve.com. How was your experience with this couch, Is it worth buying it?

Hello John,

We'd say our experience with the couch has been good overall. The main reason we bought it was because it could actually fit through our cramped doorway, since it came in pieces. Besides that, we love that we could choose our own fabric and that there were lots of choices, we love the under-seat storage space, and we find it's quite comfortable. Not the most comfortable couch either of us has seen, but still good. We find that the fabric coverings tend to shift around, so we frequently have to stretch things back into place. Otherwise, the cushions start to look smooshed, and sometimes the velcro pieces or even the particle-board frame will start to show.

Have you checked out the latest from Home Reserve. They have re-engineered the back cushions and fixed the issue with the velcro.

Great work in assembling this couch for comfort. It was a nice couple activity too.

It was great that you were able to buy a do-it-yourself couch. We faced the same situation when we moved to our home two years ago. We had to use carry the couch through the window because it wont fit through the doorway.
